The emergence of peer-to-peer crypto-funded liquidity pools represents a high-risk, speculative entry into decentralized finance, characterized by opaque capitalization structures that diverge significantly from the stringent compliance and auditability standards required in institutional-grade enterprise treasury management.
From a risk-adjusted return perspective, these unregulated funding mechanisms introduce substantial technical debt to corporate balance sheets, as they lack the robust governance frameworks and transparency necessary for integration with established ERP systems and fiduciary oversight protocols.
Consequently, while retail interest in such venues may generate short-term volume, they offer negligible sustainable ARR potential for enterprise B2B platforms, which prioritize secure, compliant, and institutionally validated payment rails over volatile, non-standardized cryptocurrency intermediaries.
